A couple of weekends ago, our son, Cole, attended Passion 2010. I really felt that God called me to pray for Cole and some other special ones that attended. And not just a little prayer here and there, but a constant praying throughout the day....a never-ending prayer for God to move in mighty ways in Cole's life.....to strip away what was not of Him and to guide Cole in His calling and to fulfill the purposes for which Cole was made.

From the moment my eyes opened each morning, I was praying. It was as if I lived to pray for him. The essence of my life...the summation of my life was praying for Cole.

Hebrews 7:25
Therefore, He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them.

Romans 8:26-27
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

May you be blessed to know today that Jesus is praying for you, and actually lives to pray for you....what love!

   Thank you for this post, what a blessing this is to me. I, as a mother, need to be on my knees praying for my children and quit my wishful thinking. This is a great reminder to me of how much Jesus loves me and everyone. Thanks, Jena.
