Misplaced Hope

This week is the Advent week of hope. Jesus coming to the world and dying for our sin was our only hope for abundant, eternal life. Jesus returning to gather His Bride is now the hope we have. And our hope is not a wish, but a confident expectancy that God will do what He says He will do...in His time....in His way.....for our benefit and good.

The problem arises when we place our hope in the outcome instead of the someone.



So may this season be one where you place your hope, your confidence in our Great God. The One who is our Wonderful Counselor, our Everlasting Father, and our Prince of Peace.

    Thank you so much Jena!!!! Hit just the right spot for me - My husband hasn't been working much and so things are pretty tight & it's Christmas -I've been studying Philippians and reading Warren Wiersbe and you reminded of what he said "When you have a single mind you look on circumstances as God given opportunities and you rejoice about what god is going to do instead of complaining about what God did not do." Thanks!!! I'm praying for ya'll and have a Merry Christmas.
